Tamil Nadu Nursery, Primary, Matriculation and Higher Secondary Schools Welfare Association has warned parents against getting cheated by middlemen who promise admissions for their children in a private school of their choice.

A group of parents had recently approached the police and filed a complaint stating that a person had cheated them to the tune of nearly Rs. 40 lakh after promising them to get seats in sought-after private schools.

Ina statement issued here, Association general secretary G. Krishnaraj said that private schools did not employ middlemen to fill up seats either in lower classes such as LKG and UKG or for higher classes.
