Aadhaar enrolment camps

Aadhaar enrolment camp is underway in the following places as part of the exercise to prepare the National Population Registry, said a release from the district administration.

The camps were underway at the taluk offices in Mettupalayam, Sulur, Coimbatore North, Coimbatore South, Annur, Kinathukadavu, Perur, Madukkarai, Pollachi and Valparai and in the municipal offices in Mettupalayam, Pollachi and Valparai and at the five zonal offices of the Coimbatore Corporation, at the Corporation primary school in Selvapuram only for residents of Wards 76, 77, 78, 79 and 85 and in the old panchayat office in Podanur for residents of Wards 86, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 and 100.

Residents could go the aforementioned offices for enrolment on all working days. Those who had not attended the two previous camps and those who had migrated from other districts could also attend the camps. The residents should furnish any of the following – ration card, PAN card, passport, voters identity card, bank pass book, driving license or email id.

Those who had already obtained Aadhaar cards could just furnish the detail for enrolment in the National Population Registry.

Residents who had participated in the previous camps but were waiting for the Aadhar card could visit http://resident.uidai.

net.in/, click on ‘Check Your Aadhaar Status’ link, enter enrolment number and date to check the status of their application.

Correction and other facilities could also be accessed from the site.
