A host of events lined up for this weekend

Car-free Sundays, an initiative of The Hindu Tamil in partnership with Coimbatore Corporation and Coimbatore City Traffic police, will be held from 6.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on July 3rd on NSR Road, Saibaba Colony.

The 16th week will commence with fitness activity by Beethoven Fitness, followed by Ranjith School’s dance programme and yoga by Noemi Herrera, International yoga teacher of Purna Vidya. There will be a mime performance by the students of CMS College. A. Velumani, Managing Director of Thyrocare Technologies will give tips on fitness.

There will be a music programme by the students of Mohan Vaidhya. The winding up session will be from the Camford International School band. The Hindu English is the media partner and Radio City is the Radio partner.

Residents who want to make use of the platform to display their talents could call up Madhan of Mark 1 at 97150-63000 or could mail to madhan@mark1.in. Mark 1 Events is the event manager. Stay tuned to Radio city at 91.1 on Friday to have an update of the previous week’s activities and those planned for the upcoming week.
