196 centres for pulse polio campaign in Coimbatore

The Coimbatore Corporation would administer pulse polio vaccine on January 19 at 196 centres.

According to a release from the civic body, the Corporation staff and employees of private health establishments would administer the drops from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Corporation would also set up booths at the Coimbatore Railway Junction, five bus stands and at construction sites to include those in transit and migrant workers’ children. The release said that the vaccines could be given even if the children suffered from fever. as they were completely safe.
