Reiterating that the Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party alliance is all set to defeat the ruling Congress-Nationalist Congress Party government, the Sena on Tuesday taunted the BJP saying it must check the ground reality to fulfill its dreams.
“One’s chariot may have racing horses attached, but those horses are useless till they run on ground,” said an editorial in party mouthpiece Saamna .
“Just like in life, the political mathematics too is important and needs to be solved. If answer is pre-decided, then it becomes the puzzle. One must behave like a human being to solve the puzzle,” said the editorial without naming the BJP.
Blaming the media for fuelling the dispute between both the parties, the editorial said that the media is pretending to report on the proceedings, without knowing the truth.
“The Sena-BJP alliance is 25-years-old. There is no news if the alliance survives. The real news is, if it breaks. Therefore many are hoping to just break the alliance,” said the editorial.
The editorial said that even the Mahabharata is a result of betting. “The fourth pillar of democracy too has joined the betting now. Every person is giving new ideas and numbers about the alliance. The reports on secret meetings are entertaining many,” taunted the editorial.
