In an apparent reference to Pakistan, Afghanistan said the suicide bomb attack on the Indian Embassy here was “planned and implemented from outside the borders of Afghanistan” and the matter was being investigated.
“We strongly condemn the terrorist attack on the Indian Embassy. It was a brutal act against civilians,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Fakiri told PTI over phone.
It was an act by the “enemies of peace and prosperity and friendly relations between India and Afghanistan. The source of the attack was outside of the borders of Afghanistan,” he said.
