At least 15 people, including two policemen, were killed and over 20 injured on Thursday when a speeding bus fell into a deep ravine near Kohistan in northern Pakistan, officials said.

The bus was travelling from Rawalpidi to Gilgit when it fell into the ravine while negotiating a turn in a mountainous area, officials said.

They said the driver lost control of the vehicle as he was driving too fast.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.

The dead included two policemen, two women and three children, officials said.
