AP govt to construct tribal museum in Vizag district

The museum will be constructed by Tribal Welfare department at an expenditure of Rs. 20 crore

Andhra Pradesh Government will construct a tribal museum in Bheemunipatnami in the district.

“The museum will be constructed by Tribal Welfare department at an expenditure of Rs. 20 crore on four—acre land for which chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation very soon,” Tribal Welfare Minister R Kishore Babu said after visiting the plot at Kapuluppada area yesterday.

He said another Rs. 5 crore will be spent on construction of a tribal cultural research centre on the Visakhapatnam-Bheemunipatnam beach road.

The minister added that a tribal cultural research centre will come up on 1.30 acres with expenditure of Rs. 5 crore beside Visakhapatnam-Bheemunipatnam highway.
