Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) State general secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty said here on Friday the Haj quota irregularity allegations against Union Minister of State for Railways E. Ahamed were part of a conspiracy to divert attention from the 'goonda raj' and law and order collapse in Kerala.

Mr. Kunhalikutty said that the reports about a judicial inquiry against Mr. Ahamed were baseless. “There is nothing new in these allegations. Those who are jealous of Mr. Ahamed's achievements as Union Minister of State for Railways were behind this,” the IUML leader said.
