A strike called by Air India pilots entered its third day Monday, resulting in cancellations of over 11 flights alone from Delhi, an official said.

Despite the Air India management agreeing to look into the grievances, particularly the productivity-linked incentives (PLI) of the pilots, the adamant pilots said they would continue their strike until the management agreed to also pay the three-months arrears.

“We are unhappy with the fact that nothing has been said by the management concerning our salary arrears for three months,” Captain V.K. Bhalla, who is representing the agitating senior executive pilots, said.

The officials of Air India could not provide details of the total flight cancellations across the country.
