Forty-one BJP MLAs camping in a resort in Hyderabad are learnt to have faxed their resignation letters to Tourism Minister G. Janardhan Reddy in Delhi.

With this, the dissidents hope to build pressure on the party leadership to heed to their demand for a leadership change in the party’s Government in Karnataka. Sources said another group of MLAs who are camping in Goa are also expected to follow suit. They said that these resignation letters would be forwarded by Mr. Reddy to party president Rajnath Singh, if needed.
