Discovery Channel takes a look at the events of last year's Mumbai attacks

On the anniversary of the November 26 Mumbai attacks, Discovery Channel will air “Surviving Mumbai”, a programme chronicling the events of that day, with personal accounts from people who were caught in the siege.
With excerpts from the transcripts of phone conversations between the gunmen and their commanders, along with the CCTV footage from the hotels, the programme offers an inside look at the three days.
It also shows how well-informed and tech-savvy the gunmen were to have planned such a massive attack. Among those whose stories have been told are Seyfi and Meltam Muezzinoglu from Turkey and Anjali and her American husband Michael. The show also reveals never-seen-before footage from amateur cameras and mobile phones. The show will be aired at 8 p.m. on November 26, with a repeat at 10 p.m.
