|
MARG Swarnabhoomi, will soon have an Art of Living Meditation centre, the first of its kind in Chennai, which will come up on seven acres on its premises.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will lay the foundation stone on November 27, at 7.30 a.m. MARG has also organised a Divya Satsang at MARG Swarnabhoomi, which will be addressed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, on November 26, 6 p.m.
The Art of Living conducts several self-development and stress elimination programmes that empower people to face life's challenges gracefully. These workshops equip the participants with skills to enhance the quality of their lives. Business, living and learning will coexist in close proximity in a stress-free atmosphere. The Art of Living Meditation Centre will be designed to represent cultural heritage, art and architecture of ancient India in the contemporary world. It is strategically located along the lake, away from multi-storeyed corporate buildings, to give it a serene atmosphere.
It will house an open air theatre, training centres and a covered satsang hall and have galleries representing various literatures on yoga and relaxation methods. There will also be exhibition halls on Art of Living activities.
