Tiny kids in their best being herded from venue to venue, kids in costumes for dance all added up to the bustle. The only unaffected presence was that of a young jumbo all decked up for the fest.
‘Our day’, is the Rajagiri Kids Fest, an inter-kindergarten cultural fest for kindergarten students. Kids Fest is generally held on the second Saturday of November every year so that parents too can be part of the fun and frolic.
This year is unique because the Kids Fest coincided with Children’s Day. “We were not expecting it to happen like this, but of course we are happy that Kids Fest falls on the same day, ” says Shini Cyriac, headmistress, Rajagiri Kindergarten.
The fest was inaugurated by lyricist Anil Panachooran, who spoke about the wonders of childhood. Into its fifteenth year, Kids Fest is a fest of fun and frolic.
