Is Om Puri jealous of Paresh Rawal?
Om Puri and Paresh Rawal are both character actors par excellence. Another common factor between the two is director Priyadarshan. The two actors have worked with him in several films.
At a recent function, Paresh, who shot to stardom with Priyan’s Hera Pheri, announced: “It was an honour to work with Priyadarshan in 15 films.” The moment Om Puri heard this, he went up to Priyadarshan and said: “What sir? 15 films with Paresh and only five with me?” No one around could stop laughing.
Ilaiyaraja in Bollywood?
Noted Tamil music director Ilaiyaraaja who dazzled listeners with Sadma a quarter century ago, is said to return to Bollywood. He will team up with National Award winner Bhavana Talwar (director of Dharm) for her
second film, which will once again feature Pankaj Kapur in the lead.
