Action awards

AXN Action Awards will be telecast on July 12 (at 8 p.m.) on AXN. Neha Dhupia will announce the winners and chat with the stars in this one-hour special. The Best Actor category features action-packed performances from favourites such as Akshay Kumar (“Tashan”), Hrithik Roshan (“Jodhaa Akbar”) and Aamir Khan (“Ghajini”). The nominees for the Best Actor in a Negative Role are Imran Khan (“Kidnap”), Saif Ali Khan (“Race”) and Kay Kay Menon (“Drona”). AXN fans got to choose their favourite stars by casting their votes on www.axnactionawards.com, via SMS and through ballot paper polling held during the on-ground promotional activities.
