SHOWBITZ

Popular and how!

HARSHIKAA UDASI

When a movie featuring bigwigs such as Anupam Kher and Sharmila Tagore hinges on a child star’s popularity for publicity, it shows that the little one has arrived. Avika Gor, the child actor from the popular Hindi entertainment show ‘Balika Vadhu’, is making her silver screen debut in a film called “Morning Walk”. The show is about child marriages prevalent in some parts of the country, and Avika is the youngest daughter-in-law on TV. Though she may have a small role as Anupam Kher’s granddaughter in this tale of two families, Avika is currently the toast of the town and people are not letting this opportunity for publicity go by.
