BRIDE WARS

The romantic comedy directed by Gary Winick is the story of two best friends in Manhattan, lawyer Liv (Kate Hudson) and school teacher Emma (Anne Hathaway) who both plan their weddings on the same day at the Plaza Hotel using the services of the famous Marion St. Claire. None of them agrees to change the date and they become enemies, trying to sabotage the wedding party of the rival. But all ends well for the two.

The hit pair of Nakul and Sunaina is back in this romance that begins on a promising note. The hero plays a do-gooder. But seeing him with a sickle in hand all the time, the heroine comes to the conclusion that he’s a thug. This prompts the hero to resort to duplicity to win the heart of his lady love. Will pretending to be someone else help? The film has some peppy dance numbers and melodious tunes.

MUTTHIRAI

This film with Anees Tanvir as its creative director is said to be an enjoyable cocktail of action, thrill, romance and comedy. It’s a story about two petty thieves – their highs and lows. Nitin Satya, Daniel Balaji and Lakshmi Rai, Manjari Phadnis, play lead roles. What’s more? Rakhi Sawant is featured in an item number.
