NOW SHOWING

Drona

The much-talked about “Drona” is a half-baked attempt to make a superhero flick. In the first half, the hero is an ordinary man and in the second, he turns powerful enough to take on the world. Abhishek Bachchan tries his best to look convincing while Priyanka Chopra doesn’t have much to do. Kay Kay Menon impresses as the megalomaniac magician.

The stunt scenes are well-crafted, so is the cinematography. A time-pass film.

KIDNAP

After his successful debut as a chocolate hero, Imran Khan, in an attempt to prove his versatility, plays a kidnapper. He holds Minissha Lamba, the daughter of the richest Indian, Sanjay Dutt, captive because he wants revenge. Also starring Vidya Malvade as Minissha’s mother, this thriller has hardly any element of suspense.

HELLBOY II THE GOLDEN ARMY

In this spectacular sequel (Hellboy released in 2004), the elf prince decides to teach a lesson to humans by violating an ancient truce. Hellboy and company then set out to save the world. Breathtaking action and visuals guarantee hundred per cent entertainment.
