No, it is not a tale of the underworld. This Balaji comedy is the journey of three friends from a meagre existence to the Parliament. Raima Sen takes a break from serious cinema to try some light stuff. Tusshar Kapoor with Anupam Kher and Rajpal Yadav tries to consolidate his position in the comic genre. With sister Ekta in tow, he must be hoping to revive the “Kya Kool Hain Hum” magic.

Like Indian society, Indian cinema has hardly given spies their due.

Here Mani Shankar tries to correct the anomaly. The only problem is the film is awaiting release for a year and might look dated.

Sameer Dattani plays the central role in the film and has veterans like Om Puri and Jackie Shroff to support him. Hope Mani finds his “16 December” form.

WANTED

Based on Mark Millar’s explosive graphic novel and directed by Timur Bekmambetov, “Wanted” tells the tale of one apathetic nobody’s transformation into an unparalleled enforcer of justice. James McAvoy, plays the said loser who discovers he is part of an assassination group called The Fraternity and he needs to avenge his father’s murder most foul. Angelina Jolie sizzles as always.
