BOMBAT

Everyone seems to be waiting for Bombat to see how Ramya and Ganesh hit it off. The music is by Mano Murthy and the unit swears that it is Bombat. It has five songs and they have all been shot in Austria and Italy. The film is directed by Rajendra Singh Babu. The movie is an out-and-out entertainer, says the grapevine. While Ramya plays an NRI, Ganesh plays a rowdy and her father is a police commissioner.

SINGH IS KINNG

Akshay Kumar is clearly the king of box office these days. Judging from the initial returns his latest “Singh is Kinng” is likely to be a winner too. Directed by Anees Bazmi and produced by Vipul Shah, the film ran into a note of controversy initially. But the masses are queuing up to see their popular star in yet another flick with Katrina Kaif and Neha Dhupia.

KUSELAN

For once you see the superstar in a closer-to-life role. The popular mannerisms and stunts may be missing. But in their place is a well-scripted story of friendship between Kuselar and Krishna. Directed by P. Vasu and produced by K. Balachander, Rajinikanth, Pasupathy, Meena and Vadivelu with their impressive performances make “Kuselan” a treat. Boy-music composer G. V. Prakash has done his bit with some hummable numbers.
