National Geographic Channel presents ‘Inside’ premiering May 21 at 9 p.m.. The programme unravels the real story behind the places and events where dreams are realised, hopes are shattered but the show goes on. There is also an exciting SMS contest planned to engage viewers and give them a chance to win unique prizes. Viewers have to sms the keyword ‘Inside’ to 57827 and answer a simple question every week to win a prize of two nights and three days, an all expense paid trip to Dubai for a couple with exclusive access to Burj Al Arab, the tallest and only 7-star hotel in the world.
The first episode is Sumo’s Ultimate Clash. The programme looks at the world of sumo wrestlers and their daily routine. Super Truck Rally on May 28 takes you to the Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree. It offers everything from pet singing contests to the best lit truck at night competition.
June 4’s Rio Carnival is often called the ‘greatest party on Earth’. The world famous Samba Parade is where the carnival thrives. Air Show on June 11 is the oldest, and most prestigious air show in the world. The Oshkosh Air Show is a spectacle to watch on both air and ground. June 18’s Lord of the Rings on Stage is a peek at the theatrical version of the best-selling novel and film set to hit the London stage. June 25’s Tut’s Treasure Tour is an exclusive museum show on the boy king and the magnificence of his times.
