We met during the making of the serial "Marmadesam" (1997), which was also our first big project on TV. For almost two years we worked together on it and had to travel quite a bit for the outdoor shoots. During this time we got to know each other and became good friends. Love came along. Though he proposed first, I always knew he was my Mr. Right. Today after more than three years of being married, I can say for sure that `adjustment' and `flexibility' are the two magic words to live happily ever after. Of course, Chetan's openness has really helped. He's not the kind who can hold his feelings or opinion. I did take some time to get used to it. Openness is very subjective. It can sometimes also seem to be a negative trait. But with so much dishonesty around you, I prefer to have a genuine person by my side.

Genuine. That's what she is. That's one quality I look for in friends too. I hate people who put up an act or throw attitude. More so, because as actors you are always in make-believe situations. The funniest moment in our career was when we had to dance together for a show that will soon be aired on television. It's not easy matching steps, especially with your wife!
