Hollywood actor Robert De Niro is planning a new career- gangster rapper.

The 66-year-old planned professional change after becoming good friends with hip-hop star 50 Cent on the set of ‘Righteous Kill’ last year.

The Oscar-winning star contemplated the idea of recording a track with the singer.

“We had some good conversations. As for any future collaborations or rapping, you never know,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

The father-of-five further revealed he never thought of what to do if his acting failed to hit the mark.

He added: “I didn’t have a Plan B. I never quite got to the point of needing one. I did one thing, then the next. I was able to sustain myself.”
