What they say…
Producer, hero, music director and director J.K.: I came to Chennai in 1997 with the aim of becoming a music director. I learnt Carnatic music and took the keyboard exams conducted by the Trinity College of Music, London. I began as an assistant to director K. Bhagyaraj, one of the best screenplay writers in the field. I learnt the nuances of writing a screenplay from him. When I finished writing the story for this film, I decided to don the hero’s role. Besides, I ended up producing and directing the film due to various reasons. Whoever has seen the rushes, has appreciated my work.
