Of Loss And Hope Song Of Sparrows

The Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation, in association with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, New Delhi, organises an Iranian Film Festival. It will be held from March 4 to 6 at Devi Sree Devi Preview Theatre, No. 14, Vijaya Raghava Road, T. Nagar. As many as six films directed by Dariush Mehrjui, Majid Majidi, Nader Moghaddas, Masud Naqqashzadeh, Alireza Raisian and Bahram Tavakoli will be screened at the festival. THE LINE-UP

Beloved Sky (March 4, 6.15 p.m.) is the story of a man whose fate changes unexpectedly when a mysterious woman becomes a part of his life

The Song Of Sparrows (March 4, 7.45 p.m.) revolves around a man who loses his job and eventually interest in his family, till a change happens

Family Bond (March 5, 6.15 p.m.) follows an elderly couple who are forced to move from one child’s house to another as they discover that their children are too busy for them

The Child And The Angel (March 5, 7.45 p.m.) narrates the tale of a young girl whose dreams show what may come in the following days

Forty Years (March 6, 6.15 p.m.) is about love, as much as it is about commitment, emotions and betrayal

Here Without Me (March 6, 7.45 p.m.) moves around three different people, their interests, challenges and how they face life
