Tata Motors unveiled its all-new compact SUV Nexon on Thursday. Nexon is pitted against Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza, Ford’s Ecosport, Hyundai’s Creta and Renault’s Duster. With a starting ex-showroom price of ₹5,85,000 in Delhi, this is the fourth car in the IMPACT design series. Here are its main features:

It will be available in four variables - XE, XM, XT and XZ+

It is available with a petrol 1.2L Turbocharged Revatron engine or diesel 1.5L Turbocharged Revatorq engine.

This has a multi-drive modes of Eco for fuel efficiency, City to manage the traffic in the city and Sports mode for a full out performance.

 

All models except XE comes with a ConnectNext Infotainment System by Harman with 4 or 8 speakers, depending on your choice. The top-end XZ+ model is equipped with Android Auto, voice command recognition and text and whatsapp messages readout and reply.

Even the base variant in Nexon is equipped with dual airbags along with other safety features including ABS and EBD. It has a reverse parking assist with rear sensors and camera to double as your personal parking assistant.

It is available in five colours - Morrocan Blue, Cermont Red, Seattle Silver, Glasgow Grey and Calgary White. The top-end version offers a dual-tone roof cover with matching dual-tone wheel covers.
