All is well

Let's keep aside all the rumours about a rift between Sony Television and Salman Khan.

It was on Sony that Salman was hosting ‘Dus Ka Dum' that ran successfully for two seasons before a reported rift over payment issues. Sony decided to take on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati' with Amitabh Bachchan causing deep hurt to Khan.

But it appears that there is no problem now between the channel and the actor.

Taking the legacy forward

Actor Ruhan Kapoor, son of legendary singer Mahendra Kapoor, is all set to launch a music album in October in the memory of his late father. The album, comprising four Sufi songs, will be sung by Ruhan to the lyrics of Nida Fazil and Hassan Kamal. Music is by Ali Ghani. The actor, who didn't have a good run in Bollywood despite a promising debut in “Love 86” (which incidentally turned Govinda into a big star), also announced that he is now taking up singing as a profession. Ruhan is trained in classical music by Pandit Tulsidas Sharma and late Chote Iqbal.

Wielding the pen

So inspired is Raveena Tandon by the contestants of “Chotte Ustad — Do Deshon Ki Awaaz”, featuring kid singers from Pakistan and India, that she has decided to pen a book on the reality show! Apparently, she does not miss even a single episode. In fact, when she was called in as a chief guest on the sets, she readily agreed.
