A bike manufacturing company is set to bring Hollywood legend Marlon Brando back into the public eye with apparel inspired by the icon, including his style staple, the leather jacket.
Administrators of the star’s estate have signed a new project with Triumph Motorcycles to debut Brando-related apparel at the company’s dealerships, reported Contactmusic.
The Triumph Legends Line will offer replica leather jackets inspired by the icon’s biker character in the movie ’The Wild One’
Brando, named the fourth Greatest Male Star of All Time by the American Film Institute characterised gang leader Johnny Strabler, dressed in a leather jacket and riding a 1950 Triumph Thunderbird 6T in the film.
The modern day replica includes key features of Brando’s original jacket right down to the embroidered ’Johnny’ name tag and the BRMC distressed print on the back of the jacket and the company is also developing Brando print men’s and ladies’ T-shirts for customers.
