WIRED on Nungambakkam High Road is now turning a busy place with a constant rush of teenagers and corporate professionals. It is getting quite a bit of attention especially for its range of gaming consoles: X-box, Wii, Kinect and PlayStation3, and the eating joints. Wired has also struck a deal for its online games with one of the popular free games website, Zapak. It goes without saying that this is indeed good news for gaming enthusiasts and racing fanatics!
As you step into the second floor, you are invited with a different series of gaming consoles like air hockey, foosball and more.
Fun floats
Though PC gaming attracts a good number of people, water zorbing is the main crowd puller, says Prashanti Reddy, CEO, WIRED. This is basically a giant water ball that allows a human occupant to walk on water. The ball has a zippered entrance for easy entry and exit.
Imagine yourself in a huge transparent sphere that floats on water, wherein, every time you try stand up, you always end up falling. I agree that it is interesting and peps up the fun part while every muscle of your body is put to work! Though the pool is rather small and makes you sweat your heart out within the zero ventilation balls, you get to flip and roll with your friends.
Zorbing at WIRED draws a good crowd. Its popularity also lies in the fact that it costs only Rs. 100 per head, which is nominal by a college-goer's standard. Those who have experienced the zorbing all alone say it was quite an experience and they would certainly come back for more. Such is the grip of excitement and such is the experience — exceptional and extraordinary!
