The Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) stadium in the heart of the city has acquired a rare buzz with scores of children swarming the sprawling ground in the early hours every day. The Corporation authorities are offering coaching classes in games like football, volleyball, table tennis, shuttle, sapak takraw and hockey, besides swimming and skating.
The municipal swimming pools in the city are bustling with activity with children of primary schools honing their skills to master the water sport.
