Members of dalit organisations blocked the car of Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Anantkumar Hegde on Saturday to protest against his reported statements with regard to changing the Constitution and against dalits.
Mr. Hegde was here to inaugurate a job fair and skill exhibition here on Saturday.
Dalits waylaid the car and started raising slogans against him. The Minister did not come out of the car. B. Sriramulu, MP, accompanying the Minister, spoke to the protesters and pacified them.
