Arti Bagdy Fashion Collezione’s (ABFC) Spring Valentine edition is back, and this edition will showcase up and coming and talented women designers in fashion and jewellery. The exhibition will showcase prêt, couture, jewellery, accessories and home décor all under one roof, with over 25 designers debuting through ABFC in Chennai.

The show, says Bagdy, will feature more than 50 designers, who will present their latest line. “Jewel Saga from Jaipur by Sonal Sawansukha, immensely popular for her fine jewellery with French enamel work, Shachee’s Fine Jewellery by Mumbai-based Shachee Shah, who’s known for her intricately handcrafted micro mosaic Murano jewellery, will be displayed here for the first time,” says Bagdy. For the wedding shoppers, ABFC brings in Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers and Jewel Saga, both from Jaipur; they create magic with their polkis, diamonds and jadaus, all set in 18-carat gold.

The event will be a platform for talented designers. “ABFC provides equal opportunity for established as well as emerging designers. We present Chennai-based Aruna Reddy’s Maisara, an elegant collection of linen clothing, and also Pooja Goenka’s Vivi from Bengaluru; both make their début at the exhibition,” says Bagdy.

Designers Abhijeet Khanna (pre-wedding wear) and Neeta Bhargava (heavy Indian party wear) bring in their fresh collection for Spring 2018. Delhi-based designer, Sulochana Jangir’s Desert Shine range will bring prêt and fusion clothing. Devnaagri from Delhi will unveil its latest festive and wedding collection. “Watch out for the father-son duo, Alok and Harsh Baid as well, who will showcase their collection of French knot embroidered kurtas and gowns, brimming with an Indian feel. There will also be a range of hand-painted and embroidered fusion wear in fine fabrics by Delhi-based Hunain Kureshi’s HK Heirlooms and Manju Jalota’s festive range of chikankari saris,” says Bagdy.

Archana Pawar and Erum by Kunal and Meghna present elegant evening wear in fabrics such as chanderi, crepes and silks. Home décor by Gitika Pathella from Mumbai and personalised gift boxes, stationery and themed party packing and return gift options by Dottedi from Bengaluru are some of the other highlights.
