Melange comes to the city with an exhibition of the New Diwali / Winter Collection. As many as 60 designers will display their creations. While Kwaish from Delhi offers a collection of dresses, suits and tunics in a range of colours and fabrics, Oorja from the same city presents styled kurtis and suits. Designers such as Mansha, Namrata Shah, Tullika, Tatva and Shikha from Mumbai showcase ready-to-wear range of embroidered dresses and tunics. Vima, Simran, Alankrit and Mehak display wearable prêt lines. Singhania’s and Krish Collection from Hyderabad showcase saris and lehengas while Vastrasara and Cyynosure present saris. Shazia and Farashati offer Pakistani dresses and materials, and Envy Me have displays ethnic kidswear.

Sparkle of Delhi offers diamonds and kundans embedded on gold jewellery while Kriti Jewels and Studio SRG presents a variety of jewellery. Adaa and Fiddaa showcase footwear, and La Bella’s and Azaria, kidswear. Rasberrie has home products, and Simrans Collections, accessories.

Workshop for children on board game making

DakshinaChitra organises a board game-making workshop for children. The workshop will introduce children to various board games and provide insights into creating card-based and board games. The workshop will draw inspiration from themes of South India.

The fee for the workshop is Rs.1,000, inclusive of material, refreshments and transportation. Conveyance to and from DakshinaChitra will be provided. The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 27. For registration, call 98417-77779 / 2446-2435.
