Suggest home remedies to get rid of body odour.Vanitha

Be generous with the use of colognes, even splashing them on. Colognes and Eau de Toilette consist mainly of water. They are light and their fragrance lingers. Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it under your arms. You can also add lemon juice to this paste. Leave it on for 10 minutes before washing it off. Or, mix a little baking soda with your talcum powder and apply it under your arms, or on your feet. You can also add one teaspoon of alum to your bath water. Crush some mint leaves and add them too. Add two drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil to two tablespoons of water or rose water. Apply this under your arms with cotton wool.

What should I do to prevent sagging skin and dark circles under my eyes?Caroline

Apply pure almond oil sparingly around your eyes and massage it lightly on the skin, using only the ring finger, for one minute under each eye. Massage in one direction only. Leave it on for 15 minutes; then wipe it off with moist cotton wool. You can also mix cucumber juice and potato juice in equal quantities. Apply this under your eyes daily for 20 minutes and then wash it off. Do not leave cream or oil under your eyes when you sleep, as it can cause puffiness and loose skin. Ask your doctor to prescribe vitamin and mineral supplements. Also, seek dietary advice.

I have split ends in layers of my hair.Chitra

Trimming the ends will help. Here are some hair care tips. Avoid tying the hair tightly with rubber bands. Avoid using hair dryers and brushes. Use a wide-toothed comb. Twice a week heat pure coconut oil and apply it on your hair. Then dip a towel in hot water, squeeze out the water and wrap the hot towel around your head like a turban. Keep it on for five minutes. Repeat the hot towel wrap 3 or 4 times. This helps the hair and the scalp absorb the oil better. Use a mild herbal shampoo. Use very little shampoo, taking care to rinse it off well. After a shampoo wash, apply a creamy conditioner, massage just a little of it lightly into your hair. Leave it in for two minutes, before rinsing it off. Or, apply a leave-in conditioner or hair serum. Apply it the same way, but do not rinse it off.
