Try this simple and ever-so-popular chicken snack

Every non-vegetarian loves a drumstick. It is quite easy to make too.


Chicken drumsticks—6 nos

Ginger-garlic paste—1 tbsp

Kashmiri red chilli powder—1 level tbsp

Turmeric powder—half tsp

Garam masala—1 level tbsp

Pepper powder—1 level tbsp

Salt—To taste

Lemon juice—2 tsp

Egg—1, beaten

Cornflakes or breadcrumbs—To coat

Refined oil—To deep-fry


In a bowl, mix the ginger-garlic paste, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, salt with the lime juice. Marinate the drumsticks for two hours. Dip each of the drumsticks in the beaten egg. Coat with crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs. Heat the oil until it is hot. Lower the flame while placing the drumsticks.Deep-fry in low - medium flame until golden brown. Drain in a colander. Cover the narrow end with foil. Sprinkle chopped spring onions. Decorate with onion rings. Serve with green sauce and tomato ketchup.
