This dish made from jackfruit seeds is quick and easy to make. The seeds are nutritious and can be used as an alternative to potato. I learnt this recipe from my grandmother.

Sambar powder – 2 tsp
Salt – for taste

Cooking instructions
Heat oil, add the mustard seeds and let splutter. Add curry leaves.
Add the cooked jackfruit seeds, turmeric powder, sambar powder and salt. Mix well.
Cover the pan with a lid.
On a medium flame roast the seeds, stirring occasionally.
Serve with sambar rice, rasam rice or curd rice.
