Opportunity Knocks Twice!
IT BECOMES the fortune of every city when good things happen to it, and to have two good things to happen in the space of six months is fortune overwhelming! Yes, it is here again and in a new flavour that promises purpose for the serious job seeker. No more getting lost in a daze of whom to meet and whom to miss, no more uncertain attempts to get that job you have dreamt of all summer.
The Hindu Opportunities Fair 2006 is slotted to run cheek by jowl with the prestigious GITEX 2006 Fair at Hyderabad on January 12th and January 13th, 2006 at the Hitex International Exhibition Centre, Madhapur, Hyderabad. And this time The Hindu Opportunities Fair will be strengthened by all the power and vision of the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Eenadu, the state's popular daily. GITEX 2006 which will be going on at the same venue will be host to several corporate visitors from all over the world, including West Asia, the US and Europe and The Hindu Opportunities Fair will be the best opportunity for job seekers to meet prospective employers across the IT, BPO, Manufacturing and the Service industries.
To see that both exhibitors and aspirants get a fair chance to meet and discuss at a little more leisure, the fair has been designed on a format that will allow recruiters to choose whom they want to meet beforehand and give them the time they deserve. Ergo, the process has been purpose designed to facilitate this:
Freshers and those passing out in 2006 and those with less than two years' experience will need to register online at this address: {lt}http://www.tmifirst.com/hf6/index.aspx{gt} and await a confirmatory message online that will include the Hall Entry Ticket only when they are short listed by the recruiters. This will save thousands of people the trouble and expense of coming all the way to the venue only to discover that none of the jobs suit them.
Experienced Professionals with more than two years of work experience need to click on the relevant option and after filling in the form can print out their Hall Entry Ticket, the moment they have completed the process and do not need to expect a confirmatory mail with the details.
The form has been designed as simply as possible and all you have to do is firstly enter your basic data for registration and then sit back, relax and await your user ID and password by e-mail with a link to the registration site.
The third step is to complete the registration process by logging onto the registration site and having done that complete the final step by taking a printout of the Hall Entry Ticket.
Mind you, you can do all four steps if you have more that two years' experience. If you are a fresher or are about to graduate or have less than two years experience you need to wait a tad longer for your HET to be generated after scrutiny and acceptance. Those with experience of more than two years are advised that you should bring along supporting documents to establish your experienced state at the venue to the recruiter(s) with whom you have an appointment. And remember everybody; you will not be admitted without a Hall Entry Ticket.
The Hindu Opportunities Fair is going to be a unique experience if you are qualified and are in the market for a job, and for those who hold an HET, admission to the venue will be free.
So hurry, get online and register. Opportunities really don't happen thrice!
