MEDSAT! Our pick of the week

A man staying at a remote village does not have access to a medical specialist since he cannot afford it and lives too far away from one. So he relies on a miracle man leading to a wrong diagnosis and often death. To overcome this pathetic situation I would like to build a satellite MEDSAT that will put all the medical institutions on wire. Small hospitals can conduct surgical procedures and physical examinations under the guidance of a specialist sitting somewhere very far off. He will guide them through videoconferencing. MEDSAT will create an inter-connectivity between all private hospitals, government hospitals, medical colleges and super speciality hospitals.

MEDSAT will reach out to every sick, deprived man lying on a bed in every remote village of India.

Free wi-fi for all

I will launch a satellite which will provide free WiFi to our country. It will be useful for students who can clarify doubts through messenger services and online video chatrooms with teachers.

It will also be useful for businessmen who can see their presentations and documents from wherever they are. WiFi can also ensure safety. For example, if someone is in danger, he/she can use an SOS service allowing someone to track and save them.

Build strong foundations

I would not splurge money on rockets to the moon or rovers on Mars. I would Improve our current launch pads and bases. The PSLV-C23 was a humongous achievement and we must build on that and give research and technology more concern. But once we have our roots strong I will start India's mission to create our first base on the planet Mars. With big money, comes big responsibilities.

A giant trans-planet vehicle

I will launch an artificial satellite that will travel at the speed of light to many planets similar to Earth. Since Earth is in danger due to global warming and the ozone hole, I will take the people from Earth and move them to other planets. The satellite will be 10 kilometres long. It will have grass and small trees which will produce oxygen. It will not be boring to travel for such a long distance because it contains every home appliance.

Weather the odds

As chief of ISRO, I will send satellites of different countries in a rocket named PSLV-C28 to monitor the weather conditions of the countries. This is will alert people of different countries of oncoming disasters.

A space station colony

I will launch a Space Station Colony. This station will produce artificial gravity which will prevent us from flying away. It will also be an observatory for researchers and scientists. This will help researchers in making astronomical observations comfortably. It will also be a like “rocket stop” where space vehicles can stop, get rest and then progress their missions. This can help us to travel to the planets which are very far. This Space Station Colony can help us discovering and learning things beyond our Earth.

A mission to a black hole

I will announce a space mission into a black hole. All we know about black holes is only by imagining. They could be a portal to other universe or world. If it is, we can meet aliens with a lot more technology and ideas, innovations and powers. We can discover many properties of light, too, which will help us invent new sources of energy, reduce power usage and help industries.

Space police

I would send a satellite which will bring to light unfair activities around the world such as killing a girl child, molestations, murders, scams, corruption, etc.The accused would be severely punished. This will change India by making its people more friendly & co-operative.

 Follow the rains

I would plan a space mission to track the monsoon and keep the public informed of failing monsoons. The water resources beneath Earth should be discovered to save money used to dig borewells which turn out empty.

Launching: Guruyaan

I will launch "Guruyaan", a mission with an aim to find life on Jupiter. The planet is large enough that any chance of living there will put an end to population explosion. Like . asChandrayaan found water on the moon, maybe Guruyaan will find something precious on Jupiter.

Secrets of the moon

I will go for an advanced moon mission because Nasa was unable to prove if there are aliens on the other side of the moon.

I will design an automated investigatory robot like Nasa’s Curiosity. I succeed, India will be the first nation to prove the existence of aliens on the moon and become one of the most technologically advanced nation in the world.

A canine experiment

I would conduct a mission to send a dog to Mars to test whether there is any problem or any kind of virus on Mars that could be harmful to humansIf it looks good, then we can try to send astronauts there to checkif the  soil on Mars if is suitable for agriculture. If yes, then people may live on Mars.

Outsourcing communication

As ISRO chief, I would to launch an integrated network of satellites which involves communication, Indian Remote Sensing (IRS), agricultural network, meteorological networks, etc. Besides detecting natural calamities, the network will have other uses like avoiding radiations which kille sparrows in our country. Areas used for building huge mobile towers could be used for other useful purposes.
