Adopt them
Families can adopt dogs, vaccinate them and give them a home. They can also establish a small home for the stray dogs and regularly provide them with adequate food and water. If they are reluctant to do so, they can simply keep a bowl of food and water.

Sensitive approach
In my view, killing the stray dogs is not a solution. After all, they are also living beings. If a stray dog is going wild, it must be due to changes in its living environment or in its health. We have no right to kill them or spay them. I think government can approach this problem in social and scientific way. It is better to take a sensitive decision in this problem than killing them.

Keep food waste in check
The number of stray dogs has been increasing in our country, which is a matter of concern. This has become such a problem that we resort to culling and spaying of these animals. I feel that it isn't right, and feel sorry for those dogs.
But lately, people have started realising their mistake and have been trying to put up dog shelters, dog-adoption means etc.
The major reason for dog menace, according to me, is due to accumulating food waste in our country. This serves as a conducive environment for supporting a large population of dogs. So, in my opinion, to lessen the nuisance of these dogs, we should try to dispose the wastes/garbage properly in the right place and try to find a home for these dogs.
