Washington Wizars' Marcin Gortat (4) blocks a shot by Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade (3) during the first half of their NBA game on March 10, 2014.

Dwyane Wade poured in 13 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and the Heat ended a season-high three-game losing streak Monday with a 99-90 victory over the visiting Washington Wizards.

Miami suffered road losses to elite teams Houston, San Antonio and Chicago following an eight-game run until Wade’s late-game heroics put the two-time defending NBA champs back in the win column.

LeBron James had a game-high 23 points but just four in the second half, Chris Bosh added 22 for Miami (44-17), which clinched a playoff spot and moved within one game of idle Indiana for the Eastern Conference top spot.

Trailing 84-83 midway through the final frame, Wade sparked a 12-0 run with five points, including the go-ahead three-point play, and handed out three assists as the Heat pulled away to snap the Wizards’ five-game road success.

Bradley Beal netted 18 points, Martell Webster had 17, while Polish—native Marcin Gortat finished with 14 and a career-high-tying 18 rebounds for the playoff-hopeful Wizards, who were outscored 26-17 in the final frame.
