What is Qwikipedia?

Ever been on Wikipedia to look up an article? More often than not, we start with one topic, click on a few links and within no time are reading about something else.

Qwikipedia is a game that tries to quench this curiosity in us. The objective is to get to a particular wiki page, starting from a specific article, using minimal clicks. There is no single correct answer, so we might surprise ourselves by finding new routes each time!

>Linkin Park —> >DRDO

Linkin Park

If you listen to rock music, you’ve heard of Linkin Park. This American band rose to fame with their debut album Hybid Theory in the early 2000s.

They have two Grammy awards to their name and have collaborated with several internationally acclaimed artists like Jay-Z.

They have sold over 60 million albums worldwide. Their most recent album, released this year, is called The Hunting Party .

Jay-Z

He was born Shawn Corey Carter, but the world knows him as Jay-Z. Jay-Z is one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, and has received a whopping 19 Grammys for his work so far!

He is married to popular singer Beyonce Knowles. He has toured around the world and his productions have become immensely popular not just in the west, but even in countries like India

India

What can today’s Qwikipedia tell you about India that you don’t already know? Did you know that the state of Jammu and Kashmir has its capital in Jammu during winter and in Srinagar during summer?

You also may not have known that one city – Pilibhit, in Uttar Pradesh - makes and exports roughly 95 per cent of India's flutes! The DRDO government agency is India's largest and most diverse research organisation.

DRDO

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is a government agency based in New Delhi that is dedicated to developing technology for use by the military.

Established in 1958, it falls under the control of the Ministry of Defence (now, Arun Jaitley). Avinash Chander, who was behind Agni series of missiles, is the current chief of the agency.

So the path that we have traversed today is:

Linkin Park —> Jay-Z —> India —> DRDO

Three clicks! Hop over. It’s time for the next question:
