    UNPA leaders detained in Delhi

New Delhi (PTI): Senior UNPA leaders, including Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu, were detained in the national capital on Tuesday after a rally organised by the coalition.

Besides Yadav and Naidu, the leaders who were detained at Mandir Marg police station in New Delhi district include Samajwadi party General Secretary Amar Singh, INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala and actress-turned-politician Jayaprada.

The UNPA held the protest at Jantar Mantar against the "anti-farmer" policies of the UPA government.

    The leaders were released later.
