    Opposition parties condemn blasts

New Delhi (PTI): Main opposition BJP and the Left parties have condemned the serial blasts in Bangalore and accused the Centre of failing to uncover the terror network responsible for such attacks, a charge rubbished by Congress.

BJP chief Rajnath Singh said the serial blasts underline the growing threat of terrorism which the country continues to face.

Dismissing terrorist activities as mere law and order problem by the Centre is nothing but trivialising an issue which has become a global problem, he said in a statement.

In a separate statement, the CPI Central Secretariat said it was a "sinister attempt to disturb communal harmony and destabilise our society". The party demanded a through probe to pin down the culprits.

Janata Dal (S) president H D Deve Gowda expressed "shock and outrage" at the loss of precious lives and injuries caused by the serial bomb blasts.
