    Vohra appeals for peace

Srinagar (PTI): Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra on Tuesday appealed to people to remain calm and help restore peace and normalcy in the state.

Restoring peace and ensuring the welfare of all sections of society is on top of the Government's agenda, Vohra said during interactions with various delegations here.

The Governor exhorted leaders of different political parties and social organisations to display sagacity and redouble their efforts to bring about harmony which, he said, is imperative as the state is treading the path of development after two decades of violence.
