Two new shows on Amrita TV

Amrita TV comes out with two exciting new shows. In ‘ Innalathe Thaaram' on Saturdays at 19.00 find out what happened to stars of the yesteryear? This new show, beginning on Saturday, is a journey into the lives of those who were the stars of the silver screen but who faded into oblivion. The programme focusses not on the leading lights who held centre stage, but the relatively minor stars who occupied the lower rungs of fame. It draws our attention to those who peopled supporting roles such as the doting mother, the sister, the hero's side-kick, the villain's henchman and the like. The show takes on an investigative story format, in which the mystery of the actor's present place of residence is gradually solved. Hear of touching tales of their starry past through interviews, voiceovers and film clips.
‘Health Watch' on weekdays at 14.30 beginning on November 30, gives information on common ailments, their cures, modes of treatment of various maladies, diseases in the news and ways to tackle them. It consists of four segments starting with ‘Health Talk,' which discusses a broad range of medical topics. ‘Health Capsule' encapsulates information on medicines. ‘Health News' gives medical updates on seasonal diseases, their prevention and cure. ‘Health Tips' features suggestions on healthy cooking, diet, first aid and physical fitness.
