Idea Star Singer -150 episodes

Season four of the popular music reality show completes 150 episodes and the celebrations will be lead by actor Prithviraj.

Mallika Sukumaran, Usha Uthup and the shows' three permanent judges – K.S. Chitra, M.G. Sreekumar and Sharreth – also take to the stage.

Catch Prithviraj crooning a hit song and contestants of the show give it their all to sing some fantastic numbers.

The show introduces the viewer to some of the most fascinating reel characters from Malayalam cinema.

Munch Star Singer Junior

As the music reality show for youngsters winds its way through the twelfth round, the contestants are feeling the heat.

After all the winner gets an apartment worth Rs. 50 lakh.

The judges for the show are singers G. Venugopal, Sujatha and magician Gopinath Muthukad.

Classic Indian films- ‘Sati'

This week in the classic Indian film section is ‘Sati,' a Bengali film narrating the story of a young Brahmin girl whose horoscope says that she will be widowed at an early age. To top it all off she is hearing-impaired. Starring Shabana Azmi and Pradip Mukherjee and directed by Aparna Sen. The repeat telecast is on Sunday at 09.30.

Kittiyum Koottukarum

(Victers Channel, Tuesdays, 13.00)

This new programme – a joint venture of it@school of Victers Channel and the National Rural Health Mission – aims to provide health awareness to students. Kitty, the monkey, visits schools and playgrounds and educates children on health issues.

Manorama Yuva Challenge

(Manorama News, Sundays, 20.30)

It's down to the final five to battle it out for the top prize in this quiz show. In the hot seat are Anish Shekar, Kevin Toms Scaria, Jishnu J. Das, Jose Thomas and Muhammad Dawood. And no more can they rely on their friends to help them out in case of a trick question. Watch to find out who will go out next and who will win the challenge and walk away with a cash prize of one lakh and a Fiat Punto.
