Keyboard workshop

Andrew Throdahl shares his expertise at a workshop that's open to all

A workshop on Casio keyboard will be conducted by Andrew Throdahl as part of The Hindu Friday Review Music Festival at 11 a.m., on November 21, at Kasturi Srinivasan Hall, The Music Academy.

The workshop will cover the history of the piano from its beginnings as a harpsichord to its recent evolution as an electronic keyboard.

Two students will play compositions by Bach and Beethoven. Throdahl studied music at Middlebury College, where he graduated magna cum laude and studied with concert pianist Diana Fanning.
