Preceding the dance drama there was a meeting chaired by P. Panduranga Rao, founder president of Abhiruchi. Other guests of honour were Chaluvadi Mallikharjuna Rao, Fr. Ravisekhar, P. Krishnaji, secretary of Abhiruchi and Srinivasa Rao. At the start of the meeting, Dr. Konada Ashok sang the prayer song Ma Telugu Talliki.
