Festival of male dancers

Natyanjali Trust, T. Nagar, is conducting a three-day Nartaka Dance Festival from November 18, at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore. Dancer Alarmel Valli will inaugurate the series and felicitate Ramli Ibrahim, dancer and choreographer, who will be pr esented a cash award. Axcel Saurer, Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Germany, will be the Guest of Honour. Ramli Ibrahim will present an Odissi performance at 6.45 p.m. This will be followed by the presentation of L. Narendra Kumar and Shanmugasundaran. Artists to perform on the succeeding days are S. Jayachandran, Win Thang, Ganesh Vasudev and B.K. Shafeekudeen.
